In addition to providing thousands of free book club journals to classrooms around the country, Rise Up has sponsored Alane’s free literacy series Between the Pages and Between the Pages Jr., designed to take students inside the pages of a book to teach them everything an author needs to know before they set out to write their story. There are also read-alongs, common-core aligned curriculum, and other teacher resources available to watch or download.
